Hey guys well since it is getting hotter and I need to drive my Jeep I need some serious help...

Ok I have a 96 GC Orvis It has the amazing electrical hvac system. And well surprise it does not work.

1. It will not change positions from the vent to the defrost or feet.

2. The heat/cool controller motor was bad I pulled it and tired to install a new one. It did not help. If i have the unit in my had and go from cold to hot it might turn 10 deg not go from hot side to cold side.

3. When ever I turn it on It all ways says ER on it. I check the codes a while ago I do not remember them. I will get them for you guys tomorrow.

I really do not want to drop the dash but it is looking like I will have to. I hope some of you GC experts have has this problem before So i can get some help.

My first thought was replacing the controller first to see if that helps. I can not see the new motor I got is bad and now the door that control the air flow is now bad too.
