humming noise in back

humming noise in back
I believe (almost 98%) that this noise is coming from the back. Had the muffler changed today as the tech show me heat marks on the muffler. When the rpms hit 2,000 this humming noise is loud. Anything between 0 - 1,999 and anything above 2,010 the humming noise goes away. Any clue on where to start looking for trouble?
