Looking for a toy so I can still DD my xj. I found this Wj in my price range and its already lifted. But it looks like it sits really high to me. it has stock wheels and little tires on it, which makes me think that it actually isn't lifted really high it just appears that way due to the allllllll of the inner fender that's visible. (I would be putting wheels and tires on it immediately) it needs shocks that actually fit it as well. But anyway, my question for you wj people is, how high of a lift is this? I know there's a way to measure, but the jeep is 2 hours away and i don't have time to drive down there today and measure.







I was thinking 6.5, but it just kinda looks higher than that to me. Any help would be great, thanks!

 

my guess would be a RE 5.5" lift...RE sits higher than other lifts ime, and the back is also higher than the front which ive seen in RE kits for the xj...


seems like he kept stock control arms front and rear...i would swap thos out first thing

 

They are after market adjustable control arms front and back. And i actually think the back is long arms. I didn't think re made lifts for wj's?

 

Back is not long arms or they wouldn't be at such an angle. The lift height really don't mean much as the tires that are on there are already about as big as you can go without rubbing all over.

 

The front bumper has been trimmed it used to have 33's on it. The ride isn't bad surprisingly. It just needs shocks bad.

 

If i got it id have id have about 4000 dollars to spend on it. I'm thinkin wheels and tires and bilsteins. And an iro long arm upgrade.
