Question how hard would this be...

Well before I go and even checkk it out myself, I figured id ask you guys. How hard do you think it would be to relocate the heat/ac controls to where the stereo is? I have found a great deal on a pioneer avh-p4900 flip-out dvd player reciever. I mean its retailed at $700 (which I could never imagine paying), and I got it for $50 bucks. I couldnt turn it down. Do you guys think thats something I can do or will it be too much trouble to move all the lines and wires. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

the best way to find out is to pull the bezel off and see the mounting, it may require you to lengthen the control cables and reroute the stereo wiring but seems doable

I would just mount it in the factory location but the flip up screen will hit the dash above it. I'll pull it apart and check it out I guess I mainly wanted to see if anyone had ever done that before. I'm sure someone has a flip out head unit in a jeep. Thanks

You're going to have to "relocate" the vent and controls. I a thread on this once, check over on NAGCA.com, I'm almost positve it was there, and probably done by a username "RockZJ". IIRC, he did this to fit an RB1 unit in that spot...
