How do i relocate my fuel tank into the back of my jeep. (inside)

Exclamation How do i relocate my fuel tank into the back of my jeep. (inside)

I need to relocate my tank because i have punctured it 3 times now. I just need to know how Im gonna move it from underneath, Into the back. Need to know by spring.

Get a gas tank skid plate. Look at jcr offroad. To properly move the tank is going to be way more expensive than just a skid plate.

To properly relocate it inside, you have to use an aluminum fuel cell with a rubber bladder inside. Even then, you'll have to install a firewall to make it legal for road use and vent the compartment. What you really need is a substantial bash plate.

Skid plates are fine and dandy i already have one but i want the clearance to. And snow doesn't like skid plates.

And i need a new tank either way so it's either a new factory one and a better skid plate or a relocation.

Ahh you posted in the Grand Cherokee section, hence my question. There is a whole big thread on Pirate about relocating the gas tank in a cherokee, but most of those are trail only rigs and don't see much street time.

Im just tired of puncturing gas tanks haha they suck to fix. And extra clearance would be nice til i get my 3.5 lift
