I am trying to install an amp and sub in my trunk of my 2000 Grand Cherokee. Is anyone familiar with a good hole already in the firewall? preferably on the passenger side since that where my battery is.
Or
If there isn't a hole, how difficult would it be to drill through, under the carpet, underneath my glove box? I've been looking, and poking around all day, the best i found was a rubber grommet in my floor board that lead to behind my wheel well next to my exhaust, not exactly the best spot of my power lead...

Another thing you might consider is pulling the trim at the base of the door areas and lifting the carpet. There is already a wiring harness that follows that pathway that goes to the back.
