High Pitched Noise coming from rear, passenger side
I'm really hoping someone can help me... I drive a 2002 jeep grand cherokee and within the past year, i've had to deal with this god-awful obnoxious squeaking noise from the rear-passenger side, while the car is moving. When the brakes are applied, the noise stops. I've done EVERYTHING in my power to try and get this diagnosed. I've replaced the pads, rotors, wheel bearings etc. and IT'S STILL THERE. The noise went away for about a week after replacing the rotors, but has since returned. Anybody know what this could be? I've brought it to three different mechanics that can't seem to figure it out either. i'm desperate!!!!!
I have the same problem currently, I was reading a Honda forum (google search) and have found everything from the axle hub to brake parts to cv joints etc. I don't have enough time or knowledge to diagnose it myself so I'll have to get a shop to do it but I'm curious to find if you ever found out what the noise was. I know I need to replace my shocks but I don't think that's it.
It's annoying as crap and I'm getting very sick of not knowing what it is.
