Angry High idle.

I have a 2000 G.C. 4.7. Every time I start the Jeep, it goes to 2,000 to 2,500 r.p.m. Even when it's warm. I replaced the IAC,didn't help.

Try the throttle position sensor. My idle went down from ~2k to 500 rpm. $30 and 5 minutes and done. My did give symptoms at highway speed though. On cruise at ~65-70 it would revv up like it had dropped down into overdrive eventhough it hadn't.
