Help with Tension bolts?
I know nothing about jeeps, I'm trying to help my g/f save money by fixing it. I can't get the belt off her 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee (inline 6) I know there's some bolts on the pwr steering pump, But which ones? there like 6 bolts there. Her A/C pulley is bad... Any help with this would be great! Maybe a pic of the bolt? Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure which style a 93 ZJ has so you'll need to check..
My 98 ZJ has the single bolt that needs turning.. on the left side of the pump and it runs on an angle. Turn this to the left to slacken it.
But the 93 might be similar to the pre 96 XJ in which case..
Loosen the bolt at 12 o'clock on the mount, the two bolts on the backside of the pump (13mm) and loosen the 13mm nut under the pump. Then just inline with the last nut (to left side) there will be a long bolt that you turn to draw the pump in/out. Again. loosen to slacken the belt and remove.
Opposite to reinstall.

On the right side under the pwr steering pump there's a bolts sticking out about 2" is that the bolt? There's isnt a bolt on the left side beside bolts for the fan. And will the A/C pulley come right off after removing the bolt in the center? Or do I need a gear puller?

OK, Belt it loose and off. But now I can't seem to get the pulley off. I'm turning and turning it. Is there something I need to hold from spinning to break the bolt loose? Getting dark and I need help asap! Anyone????

I have never pulled that part off..
Google "Sanden Compressor pdf" that should give you results for the service manual. I saved the pdf on my other computer but dont have access to it right now.
