Default Help please trans line

I have a transmission line that I can't take off, it's leaking and I have two days to fix this before I miss work. Trans fluid is dripping from this which is why I'm replacing it. The nut is starting to round so I maybe have one more try before i'm really screwed. Which way do i turn this to get it off! This is a 2002 Cherokee Laredo 4.0, lower trans line going to the radiator.

Right = tight, left = loose. Use a good pair of vise grips if you have to and have the room.

That's what I thought too, until it started to strip with a good wrench. Is there a way to detach the hose, or is it all on one giant swivel piece? Just never seen this type of connection before.
