Ok so tn i was driving my gc and the exhaust broke right after the cat where it connects to the muffler. So i tried to fix it up there so i can slowly drive it home . Its falls off again but i now have it tied so i drive slowly then all of a sudden the truck starts acting up barley wants to idle then just shuts off . Now it will turn over start up idle very roughly then conk out . The motor is the v8 5.2 l . Anybody have any ideas ? Please helppp

make sure that your O2 sensors didt get damaged,also make sure that your muffler is not plugged up...keep posting your feedback.

 

Well I'm pretty sure we found the problem .. its not getting fuel so we are tracking it down to see if its the fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter . Will let u guys know . Btw the 318ci motor sounds insane with open headers

 

These engines are designed to run with the back Psi of the exaust.I would not go to far without fixing that first.
What year is it and are you getting any codes?

Its the 5.2 v8 no codes nd it wound up being the fuel pump
