Help! Front end noise in lifted WK
Hi. I have a 2006 WK with Quadra-Trak II. I installed a 2" Rough Country lift, 17x9 Pro-Comp rims and 265/70r17 BF Goodrich All-Terrains. It looks great, and after a little cutting and banging I have no tire rubbing in the front wheel-wells. My question is; I was just coming down a 2-lane twisting paved roadway, and noticed a metal on metal sound coming from the front end. When I turned left, I'd hear it on the right side, and when I turned right, I'd hear it on the left side. It would only happen when I pushed kinda hard and the turns were kinda sharp, otherwise nothing. And it goes away once I straighten the wheel. There are NO signs of rubbing anywhere, so I'm thinking it's in the front drive train/lines. Not sure what I can do about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
