Help with Exhaust rub after lift!!
Looking for a little help.. So just finished my IRO my IRO 5.5 long arm lift and got a bad rub on my crossmember from my exhaust pipe. IRO is always helpful but they stuck with "the lift should not effect exhaust at all" statement. Could my exhaust hangar be done and cause this rub?? I replaced the transmission mount during the lift install as well so I know that's good. The tranny exhaust mount seems pretty solid, I shook it hard and moves the entire tranny along with the exhaust so to me that's a good sign..
The exhaust pipe is also VERY close t the oil pan up front under the manifold connection.. I had NO problems with vibes before lift.
If it is the trans exhaust bushing, where can I even get one? Thanks for any help.

Yeah, well, I've seen headers beat to s*** in order to fit on race cars so it shouldn't be a problem, however your pipe looks quite rusty where you need to dent it, so use care not to crack it. The easy way is to back it up with something like wood and then wail on it . You may need to remove that bracket to get the dent in the right place.

Thanks for the tip Dave, I appreciate the response but I got it figured out today.
It was making bad clunks when accelerating today so I checked the motor mounts and sure enough, drivers side was falling apart in the car. I just finished replacing them and it drives like a dream once again!!! I can finally enjoy my lift!!

It's always something with Jeeps, ain't it? Any other vehicle is just boring.
