ok so I bought a 96 jeep grand Cherokee Limited edition 5.2 v8... my problem is.. before my brother and I started wokring on it it was running... we replaced the cooling system and radiator...I replaced all fuses and thats when I discovered the alarm system still works. but I dont have the remote..( if anyone knows where i can buy one i would appreciate the info).. but as we tried to turn it on it wont start... all I hear is a clicking noise...its been a couple weeks since then and we still cant get it to start and have no clue what to do.. really need my truck running before the summer gets hotter and my night classes start please help!

You can buy a remote/keyless entry fob for it on ebay. You can use the key in the passenger door and lock, then unlock it and that should turn off the Sentry system. After that you can lock the doors with the button on the inside before closing the door and it will turn on the alarm. When returning just use the key and that will turn off the alarm.
That's what I used to do when I carried the set of keys to my '97 that didn't have the remote. (I only had 1 remote and 2 sets of keys.)

Unlock the passenger door with the key, I think that will shut the alarm off.

My old zj close the driver door and lock and unlock its either the driver or passenger door like the guy said above me

Either unlock the pas side or back hatch with key if it still won't disarm ground the system out untill u get a remote from the factory
