Exclamation HELP!

my grand cherokee is not running right guys ok this is what it does whenever i`m going forward it shakes really bad and when i`m in reverse the motor bogs down like it`s gonna stall help guys i bought it yesterday

My 1994 shaked like crazy. The motor mount where bad, I replaced the mount and it fixed it.

Question

what i meant was it shakes lurches and runs like crap whenever i`m at a stoplight or backing up and when in reverse the motor bogs down and acts like it wants to stall but it don`t

It may be the idle air control motor not adjusting the idle speed. If you keep your foot on the gas does it run ok?

It's a bit hard without more info:
Does it run smooth in N or park?
Check the transmission fluid levels. Low fluid level will make the trans engage a nd disengage as it runs low on fluid... it will be a voilent shake.
I am not 100% on the auto trans for jeep but it may need adjusting if it trying to pick-up reverse and 1st at the same time (like a trans brake effect)
Or the torque/ stall converter needs some attention.

If it shakes and rattles in park then these last words are useless to you

yeah in park and neutral the shakes stop and when i hit the gas it don`t do it

Sounds like a vacuum leak, do you hear any hissing around the intake and vacuum lines?

i found out what it was the plugs were gapped at 0.20 they were supposed to be at 0.35
