Welcome to the forum.

When I look on Rock Auto there are three heater cores shown for your vehicle.

Two look the same, one looks different. That web site is usually very good, but they don't list why the parts are different.

What manufacturer and MFG P/N was purchased?

Which Rock Auto part resembles the part removed from the vehicle?

Okay, Mopar lists the part number for your 99 and my 2000 as #5012691AB for manual controls or ATC.

Rockauto has an APDI/PRO with that part number, BUT I just bought one and had it installed by my mechanic and it burst after 10 minutes at operating temp. Wholesale Mopar Parts online has a real Mopar one for $55. The one we took out was brass and the APDI one is aluminum. The original had 218K miles on it and was so corroded in the tubes that it was unsaveable.

He told me I should have let HIM buy the part because the supplier would have payed the labor if it was defective. Something you don't think about when you buy parts yourself!
