So my 96 GC has good heat, the problem is that it only comes through the defrost......What are the likely causes and solutions? I understand that it may be a vacuum issue.....Or is it the blend door and how do I tell? Thanks!

The controls operate off vacuum motors. When you loose vacuum, the whole system goes to default, which is defrost. Yo have a vacuum leak, which you will need to chase down. Check your vacuum hoses, fittings and resevoir.
