So when I bought the Jeep it had no bolts holding down the latching mechanism and the bump stops were destroyed. So I replaced the rubber boots and found two bolts to hold the latch to get rid of that annoying rattle.

But now whenever I park on a hill steep enough with the engine at a higher point than the hatch it'll say it's opened. Also when I'm driving and hit a bump or take a turn the VIC will start beeping at me which is almost worst than the rattle. The only thing I found is this wire that's not attached. Any suggestion where to look/how to fix?
