Default Hard starting, misfiring, and cutting out.

My wife's '97 ZJ 4.0 auto is having some issues.

It usually takes about 5 seconds of cranking before it will start and sometimes it misfires bad on startup. However, if you crank it over a couple times, let off the key, and crank it again it starts right up.

It just started cutting out for a split second when making a hard left turn.

It's throwing codes for random misfires on all cylinders and a voltage issue with the temp sending unit. The temp gauge works fine.

It has a new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, coil, and TPS.

I'm thinking fuel pump/filter issue. Any thoughts/suggestions??

You may be right in thinking it may be a fuel issue. Here are a couple of articles that point to the fuel system. A clean throttle body is important and do a pressure check to see what you have.

These articles are for a different year but it may apply. Just food for thought.

Here and here Hope this helps.
