I recently noticed the ribbon ground wire connected to the upper firewall on the passenger side was not connected to anything. I recently had a valve cover gasket replaced, but can anyone show me a pic or diagram where the loose end of this cable attaches to? I'm assuming to one of the valve cover bolts, but want to make sure I do it correctly. Thanks!

It really doesn't matter where it's connected as long as it's connected. Valve cover sounds right.

Likely is a bolt on the VC. Ground is ground the world around. Can't have enough of them. VC to firewall sounds logical to me.

The braided ground wire on firewall, near valve cover is for radio-noise supression. It connects to one of the extended valve cover bolts, on top of nut then a second nut is added.
