Default Grinding/Judder on turning

Hi all,

Just purchased a grande cherokee outlander 4.7v8 from a second hand dealer. I took it for a service and there were no problems found, but, it was only a minor service. They said it is a good vehicle. - engine runs well and drives well, but when you slow down to turn either left or right there is a grinding/juddering noise this is with the vehicle bieng in normal 4 wheel mode and over drive off.

Can anyone shed any light as to the fault (if there is one?)

Cheers,

Richard

You have quadra drive,247 t-case,which does not have a vicious coupling like the 249's,they were more prone to failure however it still could be an issue with your t-case. You also have a vari-lock limited slip front diff that could be shot. First check the front DS and other front end parts for visible damage, make sure the tires aren't rubbing on anything.
