I just bought a 2004 grand Cherokee I noticed a small puddle under the front right tire. Kind of oily but doesn't smell like oil. A tint of green/black color. Any idea?

 

Gear oil, most likely from a bad axle seal.

If its gear oil it will stink to high heaven.
If it brake fluid, it kind of has a mild metallic smell.

Actually there is a problem with the steering fluid. It whines/makes noise when turning the wheel to the left. They are going to flush the steering wheel fluid and refill. Is it a possibility that it is steering wheel fluid?

 

Make sure while they are taking care of ur steering wheel fluid they check your headlight fluid lvl also.
