Grand Cherokee bellhousing leak
Hey Jeep folks,
Have a question for you jeep folks, I just replaced torque converter in my daughter's 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2L V8 with a 42RE transmission Dacco 792 torque converter, got everything back together ole jeep is running better than I ever remember, but now it is pouring trans fluid out from the bellhousing. I changed the front seal but the seal that local auto parts gave me wasn't an exact match but size was. I have reordered what looks to be same type as what I pulled out is there any other O-Rings or seals that I should change while I have the tranny back down??
Thanks
Bill

Oh yes. A 12 hour repair job for a $2 seal! Been there!
Besides that, I think you have the 44re transmission.
