On my 94 ZJ the parking lights now come on with the vehicle even when all the lights are supposed to be off. It is also dimming everything like I have the lights on. I have checked all the fuse and the are good. Any thoughts?
My 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee factory radio GPS Navigation REC Radio screen went black so i decided to do an after market radio "Dual XDVD256BT" wired it up but having 2 problems.
First i have to unplug the factory amp IN connection and plug it back in for speakers to work and have to do it everytime i shut off jeep.
Second , now the tire pressure system , everytime i do problem 1 to get radio to work , i get "service tire pressure system " on my dash screen and i only see one of the pressures on the screen. ( instead of seeing all 4 tire pressures , i ony see 1 or 2 )
Any help........ i'm pulling my hair ....

How's it going everyone, the speedometer needle is drop dead on my 03 Grand Cherokee. Looks like I have to change the speedometer cable. I assume it's not any easy task to get it replaced, is there a manual anywhere on the forum?
Something is mis-wired. If you're not well equipped to debug this then you need to go to a pro. There are probably a few things you can do on your own.
If you still have the old head unit then plug it in to see if the TPMS status indicator(s) will work/display properly again. If they do then you're halfway informed. Check the connectors for differences in the pin-outs (might need a multi-meter there).
Next-up, you might somehow be triggering a protection feature on either the amp or the head unit, so check output/input impedance settings (or characteristics) for the output of the head unit and input impedance for the amp - they must match else imbalance can lead to too-much power, wasted power and/or equipment burnouts.

Hi all, I have two problems,
1. My remote key entry works sporadically, battery is OK. Can find no pattern.
2. Also, when I start car, and after several moments, I some time get a 'click, click, click' for 20 to 40 seconds and then it quits. The 'Click, Click' come from behind the radio, under the dashboard nd sound like some one is hitting the underside of the dash with a little hammer.
Also, first time Iog in to this site, don't know if I am entering my problem right.
Any thoughts,
JLClark

Bought a 98 Laredo 4.0 a couple of months ago ever since the check engine light has been on, I have taken it to O'Riley auto parts store to have a diagnostic test done and they told me the computer doesn't comply with theirs took it to a dealership took it a shop got ripped off for the test 90$ but anyway it has had several no crank no start issues and I have replaced the battery the starter the ignition switch and now the distributor cap and rotor and like always it doesn't want to start after it's warmed up oh and the reverse lights ain't working either. It has been a pain I love it and plan on in time fixing it up but I really need some help before I drive this thing out to the desert and fill it full of holes. It's going to be the primary vehicle for me to take my son to school and work and everything in between my wife will be in another city for long period of time and I will be stuck with only my Jeep so please if there is any advice anyone can throw at me I would really appreciate it. Thank You.
