Ok I have a 95gc 4.0l auto I'm wanting to convert it to four wheel drive I have done it on a xj before but it was a manual. I know wat I need I just have transmission questions how can I make the 2wd trans work without buying a new one and for all the people out there that are just going to tell me to sell it don't waste Ur time telling me that bc the jeep has 50,xxx miles it was my grandpas and he gave it to me send me links pic idc I have everything other than the trans all ready to go thanks so much for any help

What transmission is in it right now? 42RE?

If you really do have everything else then you'll just need the tail end of the same transmission that was in a 4WD variant.

 

Yes I have the trans that u named but I need a write up or something on the trans I am stupid when it comes to automatic I'm a manual kinda person. I have look online for bout 4 hrs strait and nothing
