ok my buddy has a 95 GC and its the 318 motor hes been hearing about a tranz that is a upgrade/swap that is better than the stock one thanks for the help guys

There are some upgrades that can be done to the original transmission during a rebuild that will make it stronger and more reliable.

my stock trans the 44RE along with the motor, in my opinion is indestructable, ive sucked water into my motor and trans and it still functions perfectly... besides the motor tick
