It has the 5.2 318 V8 and it's lifted 3 1/2". 170k miles.

Here is the description from the ad:

New paint, new brakes, new axles, new transfer case, 3-1/2 " lift kit, new 31" tires on 17" Mustang wheels. Clean good running jeep with 170k miles. 318 v8 full time 4wheel drive. Owned since new. Call for any other details I didn't list..

He is asking $2000 and is a little flexible on price.
He claims the paint was done right and there is no rust. I own a '98 XJ so I am some what familiar with jeeps. I am good with a wrench, work on my own vehicles but not a mechanic. I know what to look for when looking at used vehicles, but is there anything to lookout for on this 95? I know the transmissions were the weak point but what else? I imagine the mileage with be pretty crappy but I'm more concerned with reliability.

I have an 01 F150 that is my DD and I plan to make this my DD but I don't drive daily as I have the XJ and the F150. Thoughts on this as a DD? Anything to look out for regarding the lift? It's between this and an 05 Ford Explorer. Thanks!

If you're looking for my opinion, parts for the ZJ are a lot cheaper than Explorer parts and the electronics are simpler. Take a good look at the suspension attachment points of rust. Everything else can be fixed.
