hello evryone, i need some help if you guys can give me some info here on how to fix this or any ideas what the problem is..

i have a 00 grand cherokee limited.. when i bought it the gate was fine with no problems, after a while it just did not want to open no more... any thoughts?
a friend of mine has one same year and his dont lock, so i guess this jeeps have a comun problem with the gate..
also the sunroof doesnt open, it seems like it wants to open but just gets stuck,
before i could only work on "flip" now it doesnt even do that no more,, with a little push could open up, but that dont work no more.. could that be the motor or something?
