Angry fuel filter issue?

alright so I JUST bought a 94 GC and so far i hate it. 4x4 5.2 v8. problem number 5 in two weeks is this; When starting first thing in the morning it fires right up but once it's warmed up, it starts and immediately dies. If I give it some gas while starting it it goes ok but I am not quick enough to get my foot from the gas to the break to shift it out of park and back to the gas to keep it running. Once I get it going I can leave it sit and just idol for as long as i want and it it is fine. some people have said i just need a new fuel filter but i would think if that was the case it would die at random times especially when idling.

any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

A simple 50 dollar fix by replacing the idle Air Control motor on the throttle body.

Yep sounds more like an IAC concern. If you want to try a cheap (free) fix you can clean it and see what happens.

you can also use your left foot on the brake so you dont need to lift the right one off the accelerator until you get it fixed.
