Default Factory UConnect Question

Hello Everyone!

I leased my new 2011 Jeep Cherokee this past September and everything has been great until just about 2 days ago, I've been having a hard time getting the UConnect to work. I have an i-Phone 4 and it works, I get calls, etc. I have no problems with the phone; however, when I hit the phone button on my steering wheel or the one near the navigation screen I get a message stating "UConnect is not available". I can't even try to pair my phone again because it shows that Uconnect isn't available but my i-phone shows that it's connected so when I place a call, I can't hear anything. I would have to use the speaker on the phone or just use the phone the old fashion way.

Just want to know if anyone else has ever gotten this message before and if so, what did you do? I have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow and just wondering if there is something I can do myself. The Sync button is on so I can't figure out what else it could be. Please help! Thanks.

Milly

Since its a lease why not take it to the stealership and get them to fix it?

Hi,

I have an appointment it's scheduled for tomorrow. Just wondering if there's a button perhaps I may have hit and didn't realize. I checked and I know it's not the phone.

It's ok. Just want to see if anyone has had the same experience.

Well, I am fortunate to have a steady job and just able to manage my finances. Anyone with a job nowadays should be considered fortunate, if you know what I mean. The payment was relatively low in my opinion. It was 399 per month nicely equipped. I had a 2006 Toyota Sienna that I owned outright (which I paid 500.00 per month for I recently paid off) and had for 5 years, it was starting to have problems so I traded it in took a small portion of the equity for the down payment and the rest I paid off my credit card. I saw the Cherokees on the road for a while and immediately fell in love so I figured why not? I love my new Cherokee!
