Front Track Bar issue. need advice
I own a 96 Grand 5.2 and i got a mean case of the death wobble a couple of days ago and found my Track Bar at the axle is really loose. Can see the track bar move about 1/4 inch and the bolt moves with it a little. So i tried to tighten it and the bolt just kept spinning, wouldn't get tight. The bolt and nut are stock and track bar is a brand new Moog. Taking it off tomorrow but was wondering if:
Will a Bigger diameter bolt fit the bar without drilling? will it fit the bracket?
If bracket hole is in fact egged out, is re-enforcing the bracket with a plate or washers the only way to fix it?
ALSO, and this is the question i really need an answer to, if the back hole in the bracket, where the flag nut is, is egged out is it possible to fit a washer Inside the bracket and still be able to shove the track bar in?
Thanks for any input, and hope i explained my issue clear enough.

If the hole in the bracket is all hogged out and egg shaped you can weld a washer to both sides of the bracket to make the holes round again. I would also replace the bolt with a grade 8 bolt that has a shoulder, a bolt that is threaded all the way to the head can damage the holes in the bracket.

Both sides as in inside and out? cant get to the outside of the back one and not quite sure if there is room on the inside for a washer? has anyone put a washer on the inside of the bracket?

Maybe the outside would be enough, can't do the inside of the bracket because the trackbar bushing would not fit.
