Front tire question
OK this may sound stupid but it's annoying the hell out of me.
On my 98 GC I was looking at it from the front and the drivers side tire is sticking out of the wheelwell an inch more then the passenger side.
Does anyone know if this is normal.

Do you have some lift on the jeep? If you lifted the vehicle and didn't replace the track bar with a longer one then it will move your axle over a little bit.

That's good to know.
I got this jeep about 2 months ago after I got rear ended in my 99 GC
it came like this and I don't know what a stock 98 should look like.
Could you tell by the photos I have posted? And if it is, is it OK to drive it without harming anything.
Thanks for your reply.

Yeah if it's only an inch even a little more is fine. You can post a pic and I might be able to tell, but I don't own a Grand so I might not be able to. Odds are that that is what is going on though.

Thanks you for the info.
I'll try to fix it anyway.

Measure from the bottom of the wheel well to the center of the wheel. Stock measurements are about 18 1/4" front and 18 3/4" rear and 19 1/4" front and 19 3/4" rear if you have the Up Country package. This will tell you if its lifted. Also remember over time the springs will settle a bit so if your measurements, like mine were, are lower don't worry!

I measured 18 1/2 front & 19 1/2 rear so I guess it's normal with no lift.
Which brings me back to the 1" difference on the front wheels.
It's either the pass side is in 1" or the drivers side is out 1" either way I just want to make it right.
Thanks for the info.
