Front axle click
I have a 96 zj with the v8 all time 4wd. When you start to drive i get a clicking noise from the front axle. it increases with speed and does not change if you trun. So im not sure if it is the CVs. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Welcome, It might be time to crawl underneath and give things a wiggle and shake, maybe look for something out of place or extra loose. Though it can be hard to find but look for marks on moving objects, where it may be contacting something. It does sound like a possible cv joint, I have also heard brake pads click like this. Maybe debris lodged against something
I have access to a lift, where I can put it in 4wd and power the wheels/tires, that may help. And on the grounds that I could be flamed for this, if you are very very carefull you might be able to at least get an idea by lifting it by other means.
