fried power outlet??

fried power outlet??
2008 Laredo
I was using a very small air compressor which was plugged into the right ( battery) power outlet. The plug on the compressor was melted and now the plug is inoperative. I checked the fuses, although my manual does not say what goes where. I was wondering if i fried the outlet itself? I just checked all the 20 amp (yellow) fuses. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
