OK I have a 2005 Grand Cherokee Laredo
Bought it of original owner 5 years ago...
Has aftermarket remote starter from autostart.ca
idatalink and TRANSMISSION REMOTE STARTER 2-WAY PS-4661TWE-FM module under dash.

Every so often the remote starter would not work and would not unlock lock doors. But the factory fobs would. Then it would switch back to only the aftermarket fob would unlock lock the doors. Jeep starts fine with both factory key fobs but just no unlock lock... Unlock/Lock works fine from door switches inside just not remotely.

Now I can't even unlock lock with factory or aftermarket remote starter fob
I pulled the wcm/iod fuse for 30 minutes and then inserted it again.
All of a sudden one factory FOB started to work for a few minutes then nothing.

I have replaced the batteries in all FOBS with new ones. I have googled and searched through these forums but nothing seems to help permanently.

Any direction or wisdom would be greatly appreciated

I had similar problem with factory FOB in that doors would & then would not open followed by car would not recognize fob & would not start...!!! I went down the fob battery replacement route (no better...) & then finally cleaned off & "re-tensioned" the fob battery contacts (ie VERY CAREFULLY bent them to insure contact). Since the clean & re-tension all has worked fine. I have heard that sometimes dealer needs to "flash" the vehicle electrical system to get all of latest updates into the computer, but not sure about your year model. Hope it helps
