Hey I just bought a brush guard for my ZJ, looks just like that one. It's a grizzly guard, they're out of business.

Could u kindly take a pic of how the brush guard mounts underneath the bumper? Mine came without the mounts and I can't see how they would bolt on. Thanks!

 

Looks good. Now you need a lift, tires and armor and then youll be all set.

 

The interior I would give a 8.5/10. No cracks in the seats, power everything, just needs a good detailing.

It has the Up Country 3" suspension lift on it but I agree it needs more. Wheels and tires will be my first mod.

I am either doing a transfer case swap or a new transmission before anything though. And I will work on the pictures if I get time before or after work.

Most likely where the tow hooks would be bolted on at. There will be four holes on the unibody frame right where you can see the metal going into the bumper. They also go inward and mount to the support beam under the rad with two bolts. The pair of brackets for hooks are attached to each other with the bolts that go through the hooks themselves.

If you look up a set of brackets for tow hooks you should be able to fabricate some brackets to install your bush guard.

If you can't find a good pic of them I can take pics of the brackets that hold the hooks on my ZJ and post them for you.

$650?!? Thats a steal looks really nice, how many miles are on it?

 

i got a 96 ZJ for $900... but.. it has problems, some at first, others showed up later, given its year if it has high enough mileage, some common problems with the age will start to show up... but as long as you dont need to replace a tranny or the engine theres really not much that can happen that wouldnt make it worth $650, since many fixes are pretty straightforward and simple....

ive seem to become really good at fixing these things when age strikes.. so let me know if it has anything you want to work out.. myself, and countless others on here are here to help

 

Well. I got the transmission yesterday. Finally. And put it in last night. Things run awesome. The suspension needs some love but the engine is strong. Drove to the DMV got it registered and inspected. So so happy.

 

paying 650 for that you deserve an award, by they way i would park it under those pine trees
also your front passenger side tire looks a little low

 

damn and I thought my buddy got a good deal on a '98 for $800. The seller thought it needed a new axle and it turned out to be a rear brake hanging up, LOL

I've always liked the look of the white limiteds. I'd be too scared to wheel one for fear of getting it scratched.
