i have a 97 zj with 3 in lift. and i need to repalce the axle housings (front is cracked and rear has spun bearing) i have a hp30, that needs gears will the gears from mine fit in the hp30? do all zj have the dana 30/35? its a daily rig but im trying to push it more to the trail rig. i have a stock arm lift now our the long arm worth the money for a daily driver with a little rigging.

 

No, the HP30 gears rotate opposite direction than the regular D30.
No again. The '95 and later V8 ZJ's had a D44a rear axle. But all ZJ's had the D30 front axle.
The long arm set-up offers a better ride because of improved geometry, and less road shock transferred into the body.

 

i have see nthe dana 30 reverse cut gears. are they for the hp30? thanks i thought it had a 35 out back

 

The 4.0L 6 Cyl. ZJ's & WJ's did have the D35 rear axle.

 

Will a front housing from a 91 cherokee fit under my 97 gc? Found a very cheap deal on one.
