Engine swap

I have a 2002 cherokee with a bad clatter in the engine. It has 200 thousand miles on it. I have a chance to get a low miles 4.0 block number 53010341. Does anyone know what would have to be changed to make this work? Thanks

It is a 97,98 engine. It was in a cj or wrangler

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter

That 4.0 won't work in a WJ. You need a 4.0 from a 2000-04 WJ or a 2000-06 TJ.
