engine dies when put in gear
What will cause a 93' Grand Cherokee to die when put in gear? It will crank and run fine but when put in gear the engine dies.

fuel pressure, iac or map sensor could be cause.
did you try on foot on the brake and rev up the throttle before putting it in gear to see if it still stays running
