Default Electric brake wire?

I removed the kick panel in the drivers side footwell today to remove the wiper control box so i could fix my intermittent wipers. i saw a light blue wire coiled up and tucked behind all the other wires. I noticed it because it's not connected to anything and the end was bare with the copper showing. so, i covered it up and secured it so it doesn't move around - but i don't know what it's for. it's light blue and has a white tag that looks factory and is labeled "electric brake."

any ideas?

or it could be for one of those brake controllers, for when your trailing campers.

Wiring is for hooking up an electric trailer brake controller.

Blue usually goes to the trailer for the actual brakes, you should also find a white, red and black somewhere down there.

Its ironic that the add above this post box is etrailer.com, you can go there for info on trailer brake wiring haha.

i figured it might have been something like that. i do believe this jeep was used to tow and even might have had a plow on it at some point.

It is for a brake controller, the other end of that wire is in the left rear quarter with all the taillight wiring.
