Check engine light.
My check engine light on my 99 jeep grand cherokee Laredo is on. When I scan it for a code it says no code found. Everything feels fine. What might it be? If there isn't a problem then how do I reset it. When I reset it with the computer it comes right back on as soon as I turn the car on.

Even if you had no codes, i think it should at least say "passed-no codes present" if you cleared them and retested you should see a P1000. If your light comes back on you will or should have a code. You might try another scanner or code reader. I know autozones will check them for free, might try that route.

To reset your computer ,you take your positive and negative off the battery and hold them together for 15 seconds then rehook your battery up and drive it around at normal speeds for lil bit
Well the light is gone now. But now my fan isn't working. Don't know if the trouble is related to the check engine light. But now I have my fan connected directly to the battery. Any ideas of what might have caused the problem.
