driving, motor bogs when excelerating

driving, motor bogs when excelerating
1999 grand cherokee limited v8. It was driving fine, it sat for maybe a month then I drove it to work and the motor bogs down when I step on the gas.
excelerating slowly I can get up to the speed but excelerate too fast it loses power. ???
