Noob to the Jeep world (be gentle)
I did a search door ajar issues and did not find anything that really pointed me in the right direction.
Left rear door shows up in the Convenience center as being ajar, dings on occasion. Pulled the switch ("c" pillar side) and swapped it, same thing. Soldered through the contacts on the switch, same thing.
Traced the wire back to under the seat, and shorted the Tan/Orange wire to ground (AllData says its orange). Same thing, the door ajar on the Con. center still shows.
Pulled the Convenience center and located pin 25 (Tan/Orange) and shorted it over to pin 28 ground (black) same thing, left rear door ajar. Then shorted it over to a chassis ground, same thing the door is still ajar.
Suggestions?
Thanks
Ron

Im guessing then I have covered all the bases then?
If I go into diagnostics, it will tell the the door is open even if its perfectly fine.
Thanks

If you start at the sensor and work you're way back like you did, and never get the center to realize the door is closed then the fault is with the center.
