From what i have been told 4.0 is 3.55 and v8 is 3.73 gears.Did you double check your speed with a gps to make sure your tires ain't throwing off the speedo?

Default Looks about right
Mine has 3.55 gearing with 235/75s and my tack sits at 2200 when the speedo reads 60. It reads 2250 when the speedo is at 65.

The tow package got you 3.73's with the 4.0.
