Displays not working
Hello all, recently acquired a '93 Grand Cherokee Limiter. Pretty decent shape. Needs some TLC, little stuff no big deal.
Anyhows, one of my little projects on it, the 4x4 info center display is not working, and the overhead display is not working either. Are the two somehow linked?
Where should I start on testing them?
I of course tried the obvious starting with fuses and loose grounds.
Thanks.

Check the fuses and relays in the Power Distribution Center under the hood. That's the black plastic box about 4" X 10" on the pass. side (on my '97). The display center itself may have been disconnected by the PO.
And Welcome to CF.

Yeah, all the fuses and relays I checked, no luck there. So, I figured what the heck, yanked the dash unit out...it was unplugged sure enough. Dunno why someone did that? Either way, it still doesn't work. So, I may toss it and build me a switch panel there for something more useful!
If I can't get the displays working on the overhead display, I'll be doing similar to that one!
Oh, thanks for the welcome! I plan on spending a bit of time here. The rig was a freebie, so it's gonna get lots of customizing done to it

That might also be unplugged from the t-case. I'd check it out first.
