Dimmer switch turns interior lights on always

Dimmer switch turns interior lights on always
My dimmer switch for the dash lights is supposed to turn the interior lights on at the farthest position but now it turns them on at any position so i can barely see the dash at night because if i turn up the lights all the interior ones come on. Any ideas?

Can you provide more information? What year is your GC? Is it still in warranty and/or would you take it in to the dealership to have them look at the switch?

Just replace the headlight multi-function switch. They run about $50 and are easy to change. One phillips screw takes the column cover off, 2 torx screws and a connector. Try one from a JY.
