death wobble wj

Default death wobble wj

So i have death wobble but what its only the driver side that causes it i hit the passenger side and it doesnt do it but id hit the driver side and it does. I fixed my trac bar. There was no nut on the trac bar when you thread it on. So i have no clue now

If anybody says to replace the steering stabilizer, I will kill them. That being said, take a look at the control arm bushings for excessive wear and cracked rubber.

Will XJ ca bushings work on zj? I got same prob and found a set on craigs new for 20 bucks

Ill take a pic and put.it up i think my upper control arm bushing to the axle is popped out

replace the steering damper.... just suffered from the dreaded death wobble on a standard set up wj! replaced the steering damper and hey presto its gone! mind you the steering damper was f####d! in the center position it was as loose as hell and only really gave any resistance near full lock
