Default cv joint problems... help please!!!

Last weekend my buddy and I put my 3" OME HD lift on my 06 grand cherokee, everything went smooth until we got done and then he happened to mention that my driver side cv joint had popped out. It came out past the splines... I've been struggling with it all week trying to get it back in. Today, I managed to get it to budge and it went part way into the splines so when you rotate one wheel, both spin. I cant get it to budge any further and really don't want to take apart my diff or much else. A simple fix would be nice... any suggestions, help or comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

Disconnect the outside of the axle and tap it back in. There's a snap clip on the inside of the splines that popped out because it got overextended when you put the lift on. Take the axle nut off and use a block of wood and a hammer and tap it back in. It should go back in fairly easy.

Thanks for the input. Instead of the wood and hammer i used the bottom of a handle of a sldge and gave it a nice easy punch and it popped/clicked/locked back into place. I've been busy with work and such that I forgot to post on here.

This is what it looks like after we got it locked back in place correctly.
