Default Cut out fenders

Hi I would like to cut out my fenders. And I was wondering on how to do it ? Ie how to mark it how high I should go? I have 96 grand cherokee thanks

Not real sure bout the zj... But google it there are bound to b 1000 people who hav done it and wrote a how too on a forum

we used a sawzall (some recommend a cutting wheel instead) and cut it half-way to the first bend, but it depends on how much clearance you need. Just remember you can always take more off, but you can't put it back on very easily.

i used a cutting wheel ,used a water hose to make a nice radious than cut out 1'' below the mark ,than cut slits every 2'' and bent those so wouldent cut into tires ,check it out

lol i had the wife hold a water hose against the finder til i could get the right angle to trace ,on the front i went all the way against the flood pannel and worked it to about 3'' off the top ,on the rear 1.5'' piece right behind the back door was cut all the way off than some thing faded into 3'' on top ,i'll try to get pic's

So how much lift u have? Hard to tell after trimming looks like pretty big lift know. Nice

So XJ coils will give ZJ's a lift? Sorry numb question but I haven't even had my ZJ for 2 weeks and still learning.

No, quite the opposite. I guess I wasn't too clear on this. It's the other way around, ZJ coils would give XJ's a slight lift. I used the XJ 4.5" coils, and gained presumably ~3.5", and added my 2" BB on top of them.
