i have a 99 grand Cherokee 4.0 just a few days ago my cruise control stopped working was working find all the way up till a few days ago what would cause this to happen please any info would help

 

hi,when my cruise control stopped working on my 97 XJ i found that it was the brake switch,i removed it..took it apart and cleaned it dressed the contacts inside the switch etc.and put it back in..and all is now fine..i did of course check fuses etc...but all was fine..but as i said..it was the brake switch on my XJ...i plan to replace it in the near future...good luck.
